The Jay Dees!
JD Beal, Dennis Kuck, Jeep Byers, and Jim Fitzgerald did a Beatles impersonation at LHS Talent Show in Spring of 1964. They were a hit! They added Eddie Ramsey and formed the Jay Dees. Soon, thereafter, they added James Hoyle (Horse). That was the line up for a couple years. And didn't we love dancing to their music?
Guess who?
One of our classmates danced with Tommy La Sorda at Studebakers. He sang "Unchained Melody" as they danced. After the dance, people started asking this young lady and her handsome husband for pictures and autographs. They thought the husband was Tommy LaSorda's manager!
The couple in question here is
