Martha was born October 24, 1943 in Lincoln County to the late John Walter Barkley and Edith Wease Lowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Abee; a sister; and two brothers.

Mom went into the hospital on Sunday with stomach pain and general stomach bug type symptoms. Well, they admitted her. And ran at least three CT scans over five days… and suddenly discovered on the fourth scan today that she had some sort of obstruction or perforation in her colon.
