The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
Wayne was born February 8, 1949, in Lincoln County, to the late James and Alice Rudisill Whitesides. He worked in textiles.
He is survived by a son, Doug Whitesides of Lincolnton; a daughter, Dawn Miller of Mt. Holly; a brother, Marshall Whitesides of Lincolnton; and two grandchildren, Randy Miller and Lacey Miller, both of Mt. Holly.
