Lana Trammel Woods, age 70, of 162 Riverside Drive in Hertford, NC, and formerly of Terrell, died on Monday, June 3, 2013.

 

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Crowell Memorial UnitedMethodist Church with Rev. Freida Hobson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 pm on Friday prior to the service at the church.

 

Mrs. Woods was born May 26, 1943. She was the retired co-owner/operator of Catawba Valley Catering and Vending and recently the co-owner/operator of Albemarle Pet Sittin’ in Hertford. 

 

She is survived by her husband, James David Woods of the home; a daughter, Robin Wilson Hardin and husband Danny of Lincolnton; a son, Billy Wilson of Lincolnton; a sister, Glenna Roberts of Hickory; three stepstons, James Woods, Jr. and wife Maryann of Virginia Beach, VA, Robert Woods and wife Jessica of Pelham, AL, Marvin Woods of Statesville, NC; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
