Lincolnton, NC - Judith (Judie) Diane Hedspeth Walker, 75, of Lincolnton passed away Sunday December 23, 2018, at Atrium Health Center - Lincoln.
Born June 23, 1943 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late James Daniel and Lela Virginia Rumfelt Hedspeth. She was retired from The Pantry, where she managed for 16 years. She attended Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
Judie was a strong Christian woman who loved her family. She took joy from making others happy. She loved the beaches for all the sun and sand; the mountains for all the snow and campfires; celebrations with and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Sandra Rotolo, Michael Walker, Beverly (Jim) Mayhew, and Jamie Walker. Her grandchildren: Stephanie Reel, Justin Hale, Nicole Hampton, Daniel Walker, Jeremy Walker, Jason Birchfield, Jarrod Birchfield, Jessica Stamey, Jaclyn Sours, Katie Black, and Mallorie Walker, sixteen cherished great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Judie is also survived by one beloved brother William (Bill) Hedspeth (Nancy), many nephews, nieces and friends
A memorial service will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 1:00pm at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church in Lincolnton with Pastor Cole Sours officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30pm - 1:00pm at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church.
Memorials can be made in honor of Judith walker to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
