Mr. Billy Ray Baker, age 70, of 1337 Pressley Drive, Lincolnton died Saturday, May 4, 2013.

 

His funeral will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Long Shoals Wesleyan Church with Rev. Jon Mann officiating. Burial will follow in the PisgahUnited Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.

 

Mr. Baker was born on July 16, 1942 in GastonCounty and was the son of the late Robert Ray Baker and Drucilla Ray Baker.  He retired as a machinist from Sherman Textiles.

 

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Brenda Kinley Baker of the home; two daughters, Laura Baxter Munday of Cherryville and Mindy Baker of Lincolnton; three grandsons, Nic and Matt Baxter and Cameron Baker.
