Obituary for Harry Douglas "Doug" Caldwell


Harry Douglas “Doug” Caldwell, age 75 of Lincolnton, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at his residence.

Born October 1, 1942 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Frank Alvin and Pauline Johnson Caldwell. Doug was a member of Boger City Baptist Church in Lincolnton. In addition to his parents, grandson, Luke Caldwell preceded him in death.

2 Daughters: Marla Beard and husband Todd of Lincolnton; Andrea Caldwell of Lincolnton
1 Brother: Max Caldwell
1 Sister: Maxine Devine
1 Grandson: Adam Beard
2 Granddaughters: Olivia Beard and Maddie Eaker
1 Great-Grandson: Emmett Beard
1 Great-Granddaughter: Ellie Beard
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 6:00 PM at Amity Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Devine officiating. 

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM at the church.
