Joyce Lawing Baker, of #5 Sommerton Dr., died Sept. 27, 2001. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Warlick Funeral Home Chapel, Lincolnton. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
She was born in Lincoln County.
Survivors include her husband, James W. Baker; her mother and father, Ada P. Lawing and Gaither Lawing, both of Lincolnton; two brothers, Howard Lawing, and Vernon Lawing, both of Lincolnton; two sisters, Ruth Little of Lincolnton, and Brenda Pearce of Denver.
Memorials may be made to the ITP Society of the Children s Blood Foundation, 333 E. 38th St. Suite 830, New York, N.Y. 10016-2745.
