In lieu of an official obituary, my heart tells me to acknowledge the passing of my mother for her family and friends.
Ruby Ann Abernethy Jenkins, 80, passed away at home on Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born in Lincoln County to the late Edgar Hugh and Vivian McCaslin Abernethy.  She was also preceded in death by her brother James Robert (Jim) Abernethy.
Those left to treasure her memory as a loving sister, mother, and grandmother include her sister Kay Abernethy Houser (Robie); son Tony Jenkins (Karen); daughter Sandra Jenkins Phillips (Wes); and grandchildren Daniel and Hannah Jenkins.
She was a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church who enjoyed family and friends.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hospice of Lincoln County for their loving care of Ann.
