MAUNEY Earl P. Mauney, 58, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, May 12th, 2008. Earl was born in Lincolnton, N.C. on August 21st, 1949 and moved to Jacksonville when he was 8 years old. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 36 years, Mary; daughter Anne Scott; grandsons Ryan and Colin Scott; sister-in-law Susan Mauney; niece Heather Mauney; nephew David Mauney plus a grand-niece and grand-nephew and family and friends in the U.S. and United Kingdom. The family would like to thank graciously the Staff of Regents Park and Community Hospice of N.E. Florida for the wonderful care and support they have given and continue to give. A Memorial Service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Jacksonville on Tuesday, May 20th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in his name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or Community Hospice of N.E. Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
