Mr. Ernest Yancey Baxter, age 74, of Lincolnton, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Hollybrook Cemetery. His body will lie in state at Warlick Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family will not be present during this time.
Mr. Baxter was born on August 29, 1946 and was the son of the late Brodis Crouse Baxter, Sr. and Ruth McMurry Baxter. He was also preceded in death by his daughter and only child, Lisa, and two sisters, Sybil Baxter and Dorothy Weaver. He was retired from Timken.
Mr. Baxter is survived by his wife: Frances P. Baxter of the home; one sister, Connie Baxter of Springfield, IL and one brother, Brodis C. Baxter, Jr. of Vale.
