Roy “Lane” Dellinger, age 82 of Lincolnton passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Atrium Health Mercy Hospital in Charlotte.
He was born August 23, 1941 in Lincoln County and was the son of the late Luther Glenn and Myrtle Hovis Dellinger. He was a faithful member of Living Word Church in Maiden. In addition to his parents, 2 brothers, Coleman and Theo Dellinger; a sister, Mabel Wilson and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Dellinger preceded him in death.

2 Sons: Jeff Dellinger of Troutman; Scott Dellinger and wife, Lou-Ann of Lincolnton
3 Grandsons: Michael Dellinger; Timothy Houser; Jeffrey Thomas
3 Granddaughters: Kristen Tyner; Jennifer Dellinger; Amber Thomas

The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Living Word Church in Maiden with Pastor Brad Davis and Pastor Rick Haug officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 – 12:45 PM at the church.
