James David Lineberger, age 79, of Ronda, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at his home. He was born November 27, 1943 in Lincoln County to James Rufus and Ruby Hubbard Lineberger.


James is survived by his spouse, Glenda Lineberger; step-daughter, Elaine Blackburn; sister, Doris Lineberger Whitman and spouse Terry; and two nieces.

Mr. Little was born Dec. 23, 1942, in Lincoln County, son of the late O.R. and Alice Mitchum Little.

She studied education at High Point College and Appalachian State University where she received a Master of Arts. Geraldyne retired in 2006 from the Caldwell County School System where she taught 4th and 5th graders for 33 ½ years and received many honors and awards. After retirement, Geraldyne volunteered at the Helping Hands Clinic in Lenoir.
